Obituary of Florentina Gonzales

Our beloved Florentina Gonzales Frausto, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Monday, September 20, 2021.

She is preceded by her parents, Felix and Frances Garcia Gonzales; daughter Josephine Vega; granddaughter, Tina Marie Frausto; and sister, Gavina Anaya.  

Florentina is survived by her children, Jessie Frausto (Yolanda), and Mary Frausto; grandchildren, Della Cruz (Mauricio Cruz), Jessie Frausto Jr., Anthony Frausto, Makayla Frausto, Rosa Frausto, Veronica Lopez (Ubaldo Lopez), David Frausto, Michael Medina, Gilberto Frausto, Andrew Frausto, and Joe Vega; sisters, Frances Cideo and Rosa Solice; as well as many great grandchildren, and numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South 1st St., Austin, Texas at 05:00-9:00 p.m. with prayer services at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. also at Mission Serenity. Interment will follow at Jones Family Cemetery, Cadillac Ln., Austin, Texas. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
