Obituary of Pablo Ruedas

Our beloved Pablo Ruedas, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

He is preceded by his parents, Jose and Flora Cuellar Ruedas; son, Paul Ruedas; siblings, Linda Herrera and her husband Jesse Herrera, Carlos Ruedas, Lydia Villarreal, Mike Ruedas, and Rosemary Haros.

Pablo is survived by his former wife and life partner, Frances Ruedas; his adoring children, Mark Ruedas, Gloria Ruedas and husband Javier Hernandez; siblings, Peter Ruedas and wife Alice Ruedas, Joann Ruedas, Jody Ruedas and his wife Lali Ruedas; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South 1st St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, TX 78741, on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
