Arnulfo G. Melendez, Sr. was called to his Eternal home at the age of 77 he was preceded in death by his beloved wife; Lola R. Melendez; Beloved son; John Alfred Melendez; Beloved brothers; Rudy Melendez, Sr.; Roy Melendez, Sr.Survivors include: Sons; Arnold Melendez Jr. & wife Toni, Joe Melendez & wife Sylvia. Daughters; Angelina Rosales, Lucille Miles & husband William, Christine Herrera & husband David. Twenty Grandchildren & 11 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters; Helen Peralez of Faylmar, Ca., Connie Rubio & husband Frank of Austin.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Thursday, 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mattingly, OFM Conv will officiate. Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his Grandsons; Jeffrey Herrera, Narciso Rosales III., David Herrera, Jr., Arnold Melendez III., Joe Luis Melendez, Jeremy Miles.
The Melendez Family is especially thankful for all the wonderful care & support they received from the staff at Hospice Care of Austin.
