Obituary of Irma Cervantes

Nuestra amada Irma Cervantes Muñiz, de 79 años, residente de Austin, fue llamado al lado de nuestro Padre Celestial el jueves, 9 de septiembre, 2021. Ella se reune con su esposo, Felix Cervantes; sus hijos, Isidro Cervantes, Zacarias Cervantes; sus padres, Placido Muñiz y Crúz Mendoza. 

A Irma le sobrevive sus hijos, Juana Zavala, y su esposo, David, Maria Pola Ochoa, y su esposo, Carlos, Irma Rocha, y su esposo, Juan, Samuel Cervantes, Cetura Guevara, Elizabeth Cervantes; 39 nietos y 54 bisnietos; su hermano, Carlos Muñiz; sus hermanas, Carmela Muñiz, Martha Muñiz; numerosos sobrinos, otros familiares, y amigos. 

El velorio se realizará el martes, 21 de septiembre, 2021, de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con un Servicio de Oracion empesando a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

La siguiente mañana, miercoles, 22 de septiembre, 2021,  se realizara el Servicio Funebre a partir de las 10:00 a.m., tambien en Mission Funeral Home - East Side.

El entierro seguirá en Assumption Cemetery.

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,
los niveles de capacidad están restringidos en funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.
Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.
y practicar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies o más. Si está enfermo o le preocupa el virus,
se recomienda que no asista a los servicios.
La familia está muy agradecida con todos por su comprensión, amor y apoyo.
durante este momento tan difícil.

Our beloved Irma Cervantes Muñiz, age 79, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father's side on Thursday, September 9, 2021. She is reunited with her husband, Felix Cervantes, her sons, Isidro Cervantes, Zacarias Cervantes; her parents, Placido Muñiz and Cruz Mendoza. 

Irma is survived by her children, Juana Zavala, and her husband, David, Maria Pola Ochoa, and her husband, Carlos, Irma Rocha, and her husband, Juan, Samuel Cervantes, Cetura Guevara, Elizabeth Cervantes; 39 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; her brother, Carlos Muñiz; her sisters, Carmela Muñiz, Martha Muñiz; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 5:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Service will take place the following morning, Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
