Obituary of Eleazar Duran Gonzalez
Nuestro amado Eleazar "Eli" Gonzalez, de 49 años, fue llamado por nuestro Padre Celestial el lunes, 30 de agosto, 2021.
La vida de Eli puede parecer demasiada corta, pero para los que estuvimos cerca de él, sabemos que la calidad de existencia supera la cantidad de vida. Sus bromas, risa, y actos de nobleza llenaron de felicidad y orgullo a su familia. Eli era amado y consentido por su mamá y hermanas, las cuales lo van a extrañar por siempre. Le agradecemos a Dios por el tiempo que gozamos junto a el y siempre lo recordaremos al igual que a su sinfín de anécdotas y conversaciones. ¡Eli seguirá vivo en el corazón de los que lo amamos!
A Eleazar le sobreviven sus padres, Jesús Gonzalez y Maria Duran Gonzalez; sus hermanas, Rosa Gonzalez-Abrego (Romulo), Delia Gonzalez y Norma Medrano (Ralph), sus sobrinas y sobrinos a quienes adoraba; Samantha Abrego, Nichole Abrego, Elianna Garcia, Brianna Garcia, Adriel Medrano, y Alan Medrano (El rey de Eli).
Los portadores del féretro serán Romulo Abrego, Manuel "Ralph" Medrano, Adriel Medrano, Alan Medrano, Gamaliel Franco, and Alexis Franco.
El velorio se realizará de 5:00-9:00 p.m., con un Servicio de oración a partir de las 7:00 p.m., el jueves, 16 de septiembre, 2021, en Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
El Servicio Fúnebre comenzará a las 10:00 a.m. el viernes, 17 de septiembre, 2021, también en Mission Funeral Home - South Side. Será sepultado después en Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, Menchaca, Texas.

Our beloved Eleazar "Eli" Gonzalez, age 49, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, August 30, 2021. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
Eli’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His jokes, laugh, and acts of kindness brought so much joy and pride to our family. He was loved and spoiled by his mom and sisters and will forever be missed. We thank God for all the time we spent with him, and we will always remember him and his never ending stories and conversations. We love you, Eli!
Eleazar is survived by his parents, Jesus Gonzalez and Maria Duran Gonzalez; his sisters, Rosa Gonzalez-Abrego (Romulo), Delia Gonzalez and Norma Medrano (Ralph), and his nieces and nephews whom he loved so much, Samantha Abrego, Nichole Abrego, Elianna Garcia, Brianna Garcia, Adriel Medrano, and Alan Medrano (Eleazar’s King).
Honored pallbearers will be Romulo Abrego, Manuel "Ralph" Medrano, Adriel Medrano, Alan Medrano, Gamaliel Franco, and Alexis Franco.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side. Entombment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, Menchaca, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
