Our beloved Daniel Deleon Galvan Sr. age 83, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday August 16, 2003. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and most of all, a wonderful great grandfather. Mr Galvan is survived by, his wife of 66 years, Ramona Galvan; sons Daniel (Trigger) Jr., Arturo, and Jose Galvan; daughter, Mary Galvan; granddaugther he considered his own daughter, Christine Cantu (Thomas); great grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas Jr., and Desiree Cantu, whom he spoiled and loved so much; who will miss him dearly. Also survived by siblings Carlotta Montoya and Canuto Galvan; a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ustancio and Camila Galvan, 15 siblings, one daughter, Manuela Galvan, and one granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Galvan. Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 1:30pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Chris, David, and Paul Alvarez, Phillip Garcia, Johnny Ybarra, and Tony Villanueva.
