Obituary of Ernest Navarro

Our beloved, Ernest B. Navarro, was called to our heavenly father on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the age of 62 in his hometown of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catarino Navarro and Margaret Balandran and beloved dog Nella.

Ernest is survived by his wife Joann Green, his children, Virginia Navarro, Jazlyn Burleson, Alexis Cobarrubio, Vanity Flores and Rubie Trevino. Grandchildren, Xavier Anaya, Jovanna Valdez, much loved pets, Diamond, Gizmo and Rain. Siblings, John Navarro, Jimmy Navarro, Catherine Petit, Irene Hernandez and Virginia Jaimes as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Ernest was a loving husband, father, sibling, grandfather and dear friend who will be remembered for his big personality, his love for his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys and the unconditional love and support he showed to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered in our hearts. “

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021. At Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st St., Austin, Texas 78745. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
