These two ladies were ALWAYS together! Speed racers in their wheelchairs all fancied up for a wedding!

Surrounded by angels, our beloved aunt Yolanda Herrera, passed away on August 14, 2021 at the blessed age of 80 years. She was a native Austinite known by many and so very loved…
She was the sweetest, most precious aunt and we already feel lost without her. I remember going to her house when we were young and she’d cook for us and give us the most amazing snacks. She spoiled us! She took care of us, loved on us, and always told us how much she loved us and we loved her so much! She always made us feel so special. She had the prettiest smile and her laugh was unforgettable.
Aunt Yolanda was a Godly woman with a huge heart. She had many special gifts. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the church choir. She was devoted to her church. She and uncle Arthur were married for 35 years until his passing. They loved each other so much and they made the cutest couple!
Although we’re heartbroken we’re also rejoicing that our sweet, loving aunt is in the presence of God. We know that one day we will see her again. We thank God for blessing us with such a wonderful auntie and we’re so grateful for all the beautiful, amazing memories.
Aunt Yolanda and uncle Arthur raised an amazing family, and leave behind a beautiful legacy. On behalf of our parents (Abel, Isabel, Ramona & Cynthia) and our siblings, we express our heartfelt condolences to our cousins, Yvette, Tutor, Jason and David and their families.
Fly high Auntie, until we meet again... We love you so much and we miss you already... May you Rest In Peace…
2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” KJV
