Obituary of Marc Thomas Arocha

Our beloved Marc Thomas Arocha, age 30, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, August 9, 2021.  He was preceded in death by grandfather, Thomas C. Arocha and uncle, Michael T. Arocha.

Marc is survived by his heartbroken parents, father, Ricky Arocha and mother, Sandra Arocha; his grandmother, Beatrice Arocha; his siblings, Nicholas M. Arocha, Abraham M. Arocha (Helen Britz) Rikki "Sissy" Arocha Dyer (Jeremy), Thomas Logan Maldonado, Kelli C. Arocha, Erik "Chuckie" Arocha (Jordan Nabarrette), and Thomas Catarino M. Arocha; his nieces and nephews, Monica Arocha, Josh Arocha, Cameron Arocha, Casey Arocha, Nakia Maldonado, Landon Cooper, Gabby Arocha, Gloria Maldonado, Rose Dyer, Gianna Torres, Zoe Torres, and Julian Dyer and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Arocha, Abraham Arocha, Chuckie Arocha, Jeff Arocha, Scott Pena, Aaron Arocha and Eddie Arocha II.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Adam Mojica

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

The family of Marc Arocha respectfully requests that everyone who would like to attend, please wear a mask.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
