Obituary of Cesar Mario Rodriguez, Jr.

Our beloved Cesar Mario Rodriguez, Jr., age 43, resident of Manor, was born into Eternal Life on August 4, 2021. 

Cesar is survived by his wife of 20 years, Raquel Hernandez Rodriguez; his children, Alexia Zamarron, Eric Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Ava Rodriguez; his grandson, Jeremiah Garcia; his parents, Cesar Rodriguez, Sr., and his spouse, Toni, and Martha Luna, and her spouse, Carlos; his siblings, Amador Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Veronica Corvarrubio, Mario Rodriguez, Alexis Luna, Andrew Luna, Andrea Luna; his mother-in-law, Maryleen Hernandez; his brothers-in-law, Tony and Chris Hernandez; his sister-in-law, Joyce Ruiz, and husband, Angel; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Cesar's family kindly requests that all who enter and remain at his services please wear a mask at all times, sanitize their hands frequently, and refrain from hugging, kissing, or shaking hands without first sanitizing their hands. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
