Obituary of Gilberto Quintero

Our beloved Gilberto Quintero, age 41, was called to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was preceded by his father-in-law, Richard Davila.

Gilberto is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dora Arredondo; his children, Dalila Quintero (Steven Crenshaw), Devin'Ray Gilbert Quintero, Bella Neveah Quintero, Leia Nafaye Quintero; his daughter/niece, Esperanza Quintero and his son/nephew, Jeremiah Quintero; his grandson, Zyier Crenshaw, and Godson, Ace Castillo; his parents, Baldemar Quintero, Sr. and Juanita Molina; his siblings, Brenda David (Christopher), Leonela Quintero, and Baldemar Quintero, Jr. (Janeth); in-laws, Erica Nunez (Atlas Castillo), Ashley Navarro, Reyna Nunez, and Josiah Davila; his mother-in-law, Melissa Davila; his nephews, Nathan David and his spouse, Yanika, and Christopher David; his nieces, Aiyanna Castillo and Priscilla David, and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, Texas.  Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
