Obituary of Hermelinda Jackson

Our beloved, Hermelinda (Neenah) Jackson, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

She is preceded by her parents, Cecilio Rodriguez and Nicanora Bueno Rodriguez; and by her siblings, Leandro Rodriguez, Eliseo Rodriguez, Cecilio Rodriguez Jr, and Ronaldo Rodriguez.

Hermelinda is survived by her loving husband, of 28 beautiful years, Kevin Jackson; her adoring children, Kasi Jackson, Khiry Jackson and Isaiah Jackson; siblings, Joe Rodriguez, and his wife Mona, Henry Rodriguez, and his wife Hopie, Martha Stockton, and her husband Alan, Manuel Rodriguez, Virginia Gonzales, and her husband Edward, Josie Ochoa, and her husband Ramiro, Johnny Rodriguez, and Rudy Rodriguez, and his wife, Christina; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you, for all the donations through GOFUNDME; to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas; to all the church’s that gave endlessly, and to all the family and friends that covered us in their love, care, and support.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, with Prayer Services beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First St. Austin, TX 78745. A luncheon will be held prior to visitation from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Mission Serenity Hall also at, 6204 South First St. Austin, TX 78745.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
