Obituary of Guadalupe F. Flores

Our beloved, Guadalupe F. Flores, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.  He is preceded by death his parents, Froilan and Esperanza Flores and by his brothers, Manuel Flores and Henry Flores.

Guadalupe is survived by his forever soul mate wife of 17 years, Trini Flores; his children, Vergil Flores Sr., and wife, Jenifer, Amanda Hernandez and husband, Joseph, Sr., and Victoria Flores, Elena Flores and Guadalupe Flores; grandchildren, Vergil Flores, Jr., and wife, Melanie, who are expecting the first great grandchild, Luke Matthew Flores, Michael Flores, Brianna Flores, LillyAnna Hernandez, and Joseph Hernandez, Jr.; his siblings, Ruben Flores and wife, Janie, Richard Flores and wife, Yolanda, Frank Flores and wife, Ace, Sam Flores, Alice Beltran and husband, Victor, Janie Flores and husband, James, Linda Armonta (Alfred, deceased), Della Prieto and husband, Roman, Roberta Herrera and husband, Mike, Rosie Velasquez and husband, David, Terry Escobar (Zeke, deceased), Christina Gutierrez and husband, Henry and Dora Garza (Manuel, deceased); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Vergil Flores Jr., Michael Flores, Joseph Hernandez, Sr., Ruben Flores, Jr., Richard Flores and Fidencio Flores. Honorary pallbearers will Sam Flores and Vergil Flores, Sr.

The Family would like to thank Dr. McKenzie, Dr. Saif and the entire nursing staff at St. David’s Hospital (E. 32nd St.) for the excellent care and support they provided to Mr. Flores.  May God bless and keep each of you and your families safe.  

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First St. Austin, TX 78745.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St., Buda Texas. Interment will follow at Flores Family Cemetery, 712 Sage Hollow Road, Dale, Texas.
