Obituary of Mark Anthony Montez
Our beloved Mark Anthony Montez, age 50, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Joe Robert Nino, Sr. and his grandparents.
Mark is survived by his children, Jessica Montez and Mark Montez; treasured grandson, Elijah McMillen; his mother, Lupe Nino; father, Emilio Montez; his siblings, Joe Robert Nino, Jr., Jason Michael Nino, Erica Mallari and husband, DJ, and Eric Alan Nino, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. In addition, Mark leaves behind his precious dogs, Chico and Chula.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
