Obituary of Juaquina Rodriguez Cabello

Our beloved, Juaquina Rodriguez Cabello, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

She is preceded by her loving husband, Jesus Fuentes Cabello; parents, Juan Vargas Rodriguez and Refugia Palomo; sons, Jesus “Jesse” Cabello Jr., and Guadalupe “Lupe” Cabello, siblings, Margarito Rodriguez, Doroteo Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Felicita Contreras, Juana Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez, and Anastasia Fabian, and her son-in-law Rodolfo Perez.

Juaquina is survived by her loving daughters, Erlinda Perez and Margaret Esparza and her husband Larry; 21 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; 30 great great-grandchildren; siblings, Nicanora P. Torres, Tomas P. Rodriguez, Merced P. Zuniga; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Tracy, Macdora and the staff of Robinson Creek Hospice for their devoted care to our mother; as well as Juaquina's long-time nurse of over ten years, Sabrina Akinnwo.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez South Austin, TX 78702. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at San Jose Catholic Church. An escorted precession will be leaving Mission Heritage Chapel at 12:30 to go to Mass. Interment will follow at Maria De La Luz Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
