Obituary of Sofia Bertha Hernandez

Our beloved Sofia B. Hernandez, age 70, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Belen Resendez Jaramillo; her grandson, Diego Garza Hernandez, and her siblings, David Jaramillo and Maria J. Ramirez.

Sofia is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ponciano Hernandez; her children, Belen Hernandez, Robert Hernandez (Monica), Alex Hernandez (Marisa), Luis Hernandez (Dianet), and Corey Dull; her grandchildren, Marissa Garza Hernandez, Alyssa Curiel, Danielle Curiel, Isabella Ann Hernandez, Vivianna Hernandez, Diamond Robertson, Asia Robertson, Sofia Hernandez, and Luis Emmanuel Hernandez, her great granddaughter, Abrielle Robertson; her siblings, Jose Luis Jaramillo (Lucy Navarro), Blanca Estela Rojas (Gilberto), Guadalupe Eloisa Hernandez (Efrain), and Armando Jaramillo (Estella), and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  The chapel will open at 6:30 for those who would like to attend Rosary.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Rd., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Cemetery, 330 Berry St., Georgetown, Texas.
