Obituary of Ines Orta Benavides

Our beloved Ines Orta Benavides, age 89, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 18, 2021.  She was precede in death by her husband of 69 plus years, Manuel G. Benavides; her parents, Martin and Estafana Orta; her daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Mike Murillo; her son, Israel Benavides; her brothers, Manuel Orta and Jorge Orta, and her sister, Josephine Orta.

Ines is survived by her loving children, Richard Benavides (Betty), Janie Ruiz (Robert), Manuel Benavides, Jr., Rosa Linda Matamoros (Harry Leonard), Yolanda Benavides, Joe Anthony Benavides (Martha), Rita Korinko (Jim), Jesse Benavides (Rachel), Carmen Waznik (AJ), and Gerardo Benavides; over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers Nick Ramirez, Richard Benavides, David Ruiz, Gilbert Matamoros, Eladio Romero, Jr., and Israel Jacob Benavides.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
