Obituary of Elizabeth Annie Rodriguez

Our beloved Elizabeth Annie Rodriguez, age 69, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 18, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Valdez and Dora Ruiz, and her siblings, Ruth Valdez and Mario Valdez.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Daniel Castro (Katie), Belinda Muniz (Michael), Jeremy Rodriguez (Marina), and Rey Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jackson Castro, Elijah "Eli" Castro, Mason Muniz, Jojo Muniz, Jasmine Rodriguez, Jalisa Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez, Shawn Galvan, Shanda Hernandez, Little Beto Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, Sergio Alvarez, Fancine McGarrahen and Jade Rodriguez; her brothers, Martin "Junior" Valdez and Tony Valdez; her sister, Nora Garcia, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Castro, Jeremy Rodriguez, Rey Rodriguez, Jojo Muniz, Martin Valdez, Mario Valdez, Dennis Govea, and David Montoya.  Honoary Pallbearers are to include Martin Valdez and Tony Valdez. 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Scripture Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
