Our beloved Petra Garcia, age 83, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday July 4, 2003.Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Ramon Garcia, 2 Grandsons Edward Garcia and Tony ?Junior? Garcia, one Sister and one Brother. Survivors include her Beloved Children; Joe Garcia (Jackie), Ms. Lupe Garcia, Irene Garcia, Frances Pe?a, all of Austin, Emma Ontiveros (Tim) of Dale, TX., Jacinta Garcia (Tony) of Ohio, Sylvia Mendoza (Alez), Janie Hernandez (Arthur), Ysabel Murrieta (Victor) all of Elgin and Olivia Pachicano of Taylor, Tx., 2 Brothers; Paul Serrano, Joe Serrano both of Austin, 5 Sisters; Rosie of Houston, Carry Atterbury, Terry Atterbury both of California, Shirly Zapata and Elizabeth Lafuentes both of Austin. 20 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchildren survive her. Recitation of rosary Sunday at 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at 1:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars to officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. A thanks of gratitude to Hospice Austin Christopher?s House Staff, Nurses and Doctors for the care, love and support given to our family and to our beloved Mother during her illness. Serving as pallbearers are Tim Ontiveros, Jr., Frank Garcia, Raymond Mendoza, Gilbert Acosta, Fermin Aguirre and Arthur Pachicano, Jr.. Honorary pallbearers are Victor Murrieta, Jr., and Nicholas Pachicano.
