Obituary of Atilano Paredes Castillo

Our beloved Atilano Paredes Castillo, age 86, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

He was preceded by his parents, Guadalupe and Rosa Castillo Paredes; children, Maria Micaela Zambrano, and Atilano Paredes Jr.; and by his siblings, Anita Lara, Joaquin Lara, Victor Cabrera, and Felicitas Cabrera.

Atilano is survived by his brother Alberto Paredes and his loving children, Miguel G. Paredes, J. Rafael Paredes and his wife Ana Julia Bueno, Maria Susana Torres and her husband Pedro Pablo Torres, Alma Rosa P. Naranjo and her husband Juan Naranjo, Enrique Paredes; grandchildren, Elizabeth Paredes, Miguel Angel Paredes, Edgard Paredes, Atilano Paredes, Jesus Paredes, Pedro P. Torres, Esmeralda Torres, Arely Torres, Jessica P. Naranjo, Juan D. Naranjo, Isaac I. Naranjo, David I. Naranjo, Cynthia Paredes, Christopher Paredes, Britany Paredes, Everardo Zambrano, Diana Zambrano, Daniela Zambrano, Michelle Zambrano, great grandchildren; Ivan Rodriguez, Valentina Perez, Greyson Stoltz, Sophie Zambrano as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m., at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin, TX 78704. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held after Mass, at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
