Obituary of Audelia Castruita

Our beloved Audelia Castruita, age 76, resident of Austin, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Bennie Castruita; her parents, Antonio Tijerina and Maria Cortez Tijerina; her daughter, Rebecca Tellez Castruita; and her brother Daniel Tijerina. 

She is survived by her son, Ben Castruita; her grandchildren, Michael Castruita, Benjamin Castruita, Daniel Castruita, Samantha Tellez, Amber Castruita, and Kaleb Castruital; her great grandchildren, Michael Castruita, Matthew Castruita and Linda Castruita; her siblings, Robert Tijerina (Susie), Mary Helen Robles, Antonio Tijerina, Juan Tijerina (Febe), San Juan Tijerina (Anna), Nora Tijerina, Benny Tijerina (Rosario), and Ricky Tijerina (Steve). 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the prayer service beginning at 12:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
