Obituary of Mark Anthony Ramirez
Our beloved Mark Anthony Ramirez, age 35 was born January 12, 1986, in Austin, Texas, and called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 31, 2021.
He is reunited with his son Zion Amadeus Ramirez; his brother, Johnathan Castillo; his cousins, Hector Arroyo, Frank Castillo and Morris Davis; his uncle, Adam Castillo; his grandmother, Cecilia Rodriguez; his great-grandfather, Ciriaco Castillo, Sr. and his great uncle, Ciriaco Castillo, Jr.
Mark is survived by his mother, Adelita Ramirez; his sister, TiWanna Matthew; his brother, Jacob Ramirez; three nieces, one nephew; his uncles, Alfred Castillo; Frank Castillo, Ricky Castillo; his aunts, Stella Castillo, Candy Posada, Mona Espinoza, Tina Castillo and a host of cousins, family members, and friends.
Mark Anthony Ramirez attended Govalle Elementary, O. Henry Middle School, and went on to receive his GED along with numerous certificates of achievements. Mark was a father and provider to his son Zion Amadeus Ramirez.
Mark’s heart was kind and filled with humility. He loved hard and unconditionally. He forgave everyone. He loved music, art, and playing football. He had the mind of an innovator. He loved creating and had the incentive to invent things from his original aspirations.
Mark dedicated his life to Jesus at age 8 years old. Mark received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at age 11 while attending Victory Outreach in Austin, Texas, where he attended bible studies as a believer in Christ on a regular basis.
Mark was a courageous individual and sought forgiveness. He was loved by all and loved all people. Mark Anthony Ramirez will be sorely missed and always remembered.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
This will conclude services for Mark.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support
during this very difficult time.
