Obituary of Michael Saldivar
Our beloved Michael Saldivar (Mickey Boy), age 49, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Friday, May 28, 2021.
He was preceded by his father, Mike Saldivar Jr., grandparents, Mike and Aurora Saldivar, Manuel and Eva Ramirez, uncles, Eric Saldivar and Arthur Ernest Saldivar, cousins, Joshua Martinez and Jonathan Arispe.
Michael is survived by his loving mother, Olga Lozano and her husband Cruz Lozano; his children, Joshua Luna, Destiny Romero, and Zachary Saldivar; granddaughter, Layla; his sister, Michelle Ramirez; and by his nephews and a niece that he helped raise, Michael and Jason Ramirez, Jonathan and Gabriella Salazar; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.
Michael’s greatest loves beside his son, Zachary, were his family (especially getting together to eat) and sports – he was a supportive and loving uncle to his nephews and nieces. He was blessed with a huge family, grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins – he was very close to so many of them. He was a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys from the time he was seven years old and the Texas Longhorns. He was a faithful member of Rivers of Living Water Church where he attended private school for six years and enjoyed sermons from three generations of the Johnston family. He loved his church family. He was employed by Centene Company of Texas as a Program Coordinator. Michael will be greatly missed.
