Our beloved Father, Julian Limon, age 92, longtime resident of Austin, was called by Our Lord, to join His Heavenly Kingdom on June 8, 2003.Mr. Limon was born on January 9, 1911 in Creedmoor, Texas. Later in life Mr. Limon married his beloved wife Magdalena Limon on December 29, 1934. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Ignacia Limon Herrera, his Beloved Wife, Magdalena, and 2 Sons Alex and Reynaldo Limon. He is survived by his 10 Children and their spouses; Tom Limon, Pete Limon, Sr. and wife Olga, Mary Vidouria, Carrie Marquez, Paula De La Cruz and husband Manuel, Josie Limon, Anita Montez and husband Paul, Angelita ?Hela? Julian Limon was the proud patriarch of 37 Grandchildren, 48 Great-Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was the oldest living member of the Limon Family, which has over 2000 family members. Julian ?Apa? Limon was much loved and will be missed by all. His jovial personality was larger than life and stood as a pillar within the family. He loved to tease and joke with everyone. At any time you could sit with him and he would tell you stories of his country life in Creedmoor and his city life in Austin. At the age of 92, Apa continued to enjoy hunting, fishing and working outdoors. He loved to watch western and scary movies, as well as tell scary stories around a campfire. Apa loved music and dancing. Even though he used a wheelchair in his later years of life, he still enjoyed himself at the dances of our annual family reunions. We will forever carry him in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We would like to give a special thanks to his Daughter, ?Cookie? Maldonado, his Grandson, Tony De La Cruz, the staff of Outreach Health Services, and the staff of Hospice of Austin.
