Obituary of Braulio "Billy" Hernandez

Our beloved Braulio "Billy" Hernandez, age 61, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 7, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Elysandra Orozco; his parents, Braulio Hernandez, Sr. and Juanita Rodriguez Sanchez, and his sister, Sally Hernandez.

Billy is survived by his children, Christina Cavazos and her husband, Manuel, Amy Medrano and her husband, Gilbert, Billy Hernandez and his wife, Lindsey, Anthony Hernandez and Pascual Salazar; his grandchildren, Annalyssa Cavazos and her fiance, Nathan Orozco, Sr., Manuel Cavazos, Jr., Ciara Cavazos, Ayden Medrano, Andrea Medrano, Matthew Medrano, Elena Medrano, Arya Hernandez, Everett Hernandez, Hayley Hernandez, Elijah "Eli" Hernandez, Allie Hernandez, and Anthony "Little A" Hernandez; great grandchildren, Jaiden Orozco, Alexander Orozco, and Nathan Orozco, Jr.; his siblings, Connie Medellin and her husband, Manuel, Juan Morin, Daniel Hernandez, Thomas Hernandez and his wife, Laura, Samuel Hernandez and his wife, Janett, and Carmen Tejada and her husband, Rudy.  Billy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  An inurnment will take place at a later date at Assumption Cemetery where Billy will be laid to rest with his mother.
