Obituary of Peter Martinez

Our beloved Peter Martinez, age 61, of Austin Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Adam Martinez, and Rosa Cardenas Martinez. 

Peter leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Pamela Castellon; his children, Amanda Rodriguez and her husband, Geronimo Rodriguez, Priscilla Avalos and her husband, Christopher Avalos Jr., and Paul Jacob Martinez; his siblings, George Paul Martinez, and Ralph Martinez; 4 grandchildren: Adrian Rodriguez, Christopher Avalos III, Aiden Rodriguez, and Noah Avalos, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitaiton will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 12:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S. 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Reception to follow from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mission Serenity Hall.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be encouraged to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
