Obituary of Frank Martinez

Our beloved Frank "Frankie" Martinez, age 38, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He is reunited with his grandfather, Johnny Martinez, and his paternal grandparents, Jose and Vivian Nerio. 

Frankie is survived by his mother, Caroline Martinez and his Father, Frank Nerio, and his spouse, Isabelle; his sisters, Vivian Nerio and Victoria Nerio; his brother, Joe Nerio, and his spouse, Vivian Gonzalez; his nephews, Alex Lira III, Julian Nerio, Sebastian Nerio; his grandmother, Susie Martinez; many uncles and aunts, numerous cousins, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2nd & Robert T. Martinez, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
