Obituary of Elisa Aguilar De La Cruz

Our beloved Elisa Aguilar De La Cruz, age 67, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Bernabe Aguilar and Rosa Ybarra; her sisters, Felipa Aguilar, Julia Alba; and her brothers, Gavino Aguilar, Joe Aguilar, Tomas Aguilar, Larry Aguilar, and Fidencio Aguilar.

Elisa is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David De La Cruz; her beloved children, Manuel Aguilar, Tina Aguilar, David De La Cruz, Jr., Michael De La Cruz; her nine precious grandchildren; her three treasured great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Aguilar; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
