Obituary of Pauline Garcia

Our beloved Pauline C. Garcia, age 79, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She is reunited with her loving husband of 53 years, Gregorio Garcia; her parents, Vicente and Maria Morales Cordova; her brothers, Francisco Cordova, Steve Cordova, and Hilario Cordova. 

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Elaine Garcia, Monica Moreno, and her spouse, Cesar; her grandchildren, Michelle Escareno, and her spouse, Martin, Melinda Chavez, and her spouse, Simon, Andrea Chavez, and her spouse, Francisco, Crystal Sanchez, Samantha Sanchez, Cesar Moreno, Jr., Justin Moreno, Juan Jose Moreno, Bryan Moreno; her great-grandchildren, Alicia Escareno, Aylin Escareno, Martin Escareno, Alyssa Escareno, Michelle Escareno, Elian Chavez, Adrian Chavez, Simon Chavez, Jr., Sara Chavez, Dayami Chavez, Yahir Chavez, Francisco Chavez, Andrea Chavez, Mariana Chavez, Fernando Chavez, Andres Chavez, Neveah Gonzalez, Sebastian Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzalez; her brother, Vincent Cordova, and his spouse, Vera; her sister, Mary Davila; her sister-in-law, Annie Cordova; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
