Obituary of Saturnina Moreno
Our beloved Saturnina “Nina” Moreno, age 91, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
She was preceded by her loving husband, Anastacio Moreno; parents, Luis and Epolita Rivera Moreno; son, Anastacio Moreno Jr.,and by her siblings, Eddie Moreno, Luis Moreno, Jovito Moreno, Maximo Moreno, Fanny Espinosa, Paul Moreno, ; and by her son-in-law, Domingo Castillo.
Nina is survived by her adoring children, Mariano Moreno, Maria Guadalupe Castillo, Maria Anqelita Rangel and her husband Luis, Maria Victoria Burton; and by her grandchildren, Anastacio Moreno III and his wife April, Gabriel Moreno, Marcelina Moreno, Teresa Rangel and her husband Emiliano, Denise Tovar, Felix Tovar IV and his wife Raquel, Leticia Moreno, Jesse Moreno and his wife Olivia, Misty Moreno, Edward Mares and his wife Carissa, Amortti Mares, Cypress Mares, Jasmine Burton, and Joshua Burton; brother, Augustine Moreno and his wife Basillia; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from at 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South 1st Street, Austin, TX 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021, at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest, Austin, TX, 78704. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
