Obituary of Beatrice Medrano

Our beloved Beatrice “Bea” Villanueva Medrano, age 70, was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Monday, March 29, 2021.

She was preceded by her loving husband Carlos Medrano; parents, Adolfo C. and Pauline Mendoza Villanueva; son, Ronnie Lee Romero; great grandson Marc Anthony Gonzalez; sister, Doris Rodriguez; her sister-in-law, Gloria Villanueva; niece, Barbara Martinez and Nephew, Ricky Rodriguez.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Becky Lee Romero; grandchildren Crystal Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez and his wife, Christina, and Jeremy Garcia and his spouse, Mikayla Velasco; great grandchildren, Joshua Gonzalez, Savanna Gonzalez, and Jasmin Garcia; siblings, David Villanueva and his wife April, Fred M. Villanueva and his wife Elvia, Rudy Villanueva, Gloria Sierra and her husband Pete, Betty Alejandro and her husband Daniel, Eddie Villanueva and his wife Emma, and Bobby Joe Villanueva, and his wife Rosie; brother-in-law, Richard Rodriguez; and by her cousin Linda Grajek; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 South First St. Austin, TX 78745.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
