Obituary of David Jacob Saldaña
Our beloved David J. Saldaña, age 49, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was greeted in Heaven by his parents, Daniel "Barro" Perez Saldaña, Sr. and Rebecca Santa Ana Saldaña; his brothers, Johnny Saldaña, Ernest Saldaña, and Bobby Saldaña, and his grandparents, Cruz and Rebecca Santa Ana and Juan and Maria Santos Saldaña.
David is survived by his daughters, Destiny Saldaña, Brittany Saldaña, and Selena Saldaña; eight grandchildren, Alianna, Annalisia, Adelina, Izel, Nate, Natalie, Jaymason, and Jesus Saldaña; his siblings, Daniel Saldaña, Jr., Denise Guerrero and husband, Jose, Mary Bounds and husband, Eric, Juanita S. Garza and husband, Erasmo, Cruz Saldaña, Andrew Saldaña, Mark Saldaña and wife, Cody, and John Anthony Saldaña, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 200 Brushy St., Austin, Texas. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00-12:00 that morning at the church. Services will conclude following the service. An inurnment will be held at a later date following cremation and David will be laid to rest with his parents at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and
cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
