Obituary of Joann Loera Dickson

Our beloved Joann Loera Dickson, age 60, originally of Austin, resident of Pasadena, Texas, was born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Joe H. and Tommie Coronado Loera; and her sister, Jessica Gorgo; and her grandparents, Raymond and Minnie Coronado.

Joann is survived by her loving daughters, Ariel Botello, and her spouse, Ricky, Rhiannon Gutierrez, and her spouse, Frank, Brittany Dickson, and the father of her daughter, Joshua Tellez; her grandchildren, Scarlet Botello, Caleb Botello, Jasmine Gutierrez, Azalea Gutierrez, Violet Gutierrez, Rylie Tellez, and Aubrey Dickson; her brother, Eric Joseph Loera, and his spouse, Amanda Beth Cruz; her brother-in-law, Michael Brian Gorgo; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas. 

Service for Joann will conclude at the close of the Chapel at 9:00 p.m...

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
