Obituary of Margarita Cuellar-Damian

Our beloved Margarita Cuellar-Damian, age 65, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 19, 2021. 

She is reunited with her father, Jose Trinidad Cuellar; her son, Juan M. Cuellar, and her siblings, Maria Concepcion, Irma Cuellar, and Jose Trinidad Jr.

Margarita leaves behind her children, Isabel Cuellar (Albert), Albert Cuellar, and Francisco Cuellar (Ester); her mother, Esperanza Cuellar; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jesus Cuellar, Alicia Vara, Gloria Cuellar, and Ernestina Harris. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Francisco Cuellar, Albert Cuellar, Alex Cuellar, Melvin Duran, Giovani Duran, and Albert Alvarez. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel Cuellar and Aydenn Cuellar. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 5: 00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78702.

The funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday, March 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home East.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
