Obituary of Yolanda Moreno Guerra

Our beloved Yolanda "Mama Judy" Moreno Guerra, age 55 years, resident of Austin, and local Lowrider den mother/enthusiast, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, March 8, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Lupe and Estefana Mendoza Moreno. 

Yolanda leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 37 years, Robert Guerra, Sr.; her loving children, Robert Guerra, Jr., and his spouse, Jessica Aguilera, Michelle Juarez, and her spouse, Omar Juarez, Sr., Amanda Guerra, and her spouse, Joe Escobar; her precious grandchildren, Ariel Guerra, Robert Guerra, III, Julian Flores, Omar Juarez, Jr., Ivan Juarez, Makayla Juarez, Layla Juarez, Angel Escobar, Kassandra Escobar, Alina Escobar, Hennessy Escobar; her sisters, Janie Briseño, Patricia Valencia; many nieces, nephews, numerous Lowrider surrogate sons, daughters, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021, and Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral Liturgy on Saturday evening, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street.

Upon the close of services on Saturday evening, Yolanda will leave the chapel briefly to attend her last car show. Her departure from the show will mark the conclusion of services.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 

capacity levels are restricted.

Each person entering the funeral home will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
