Obituary of Pedro Martinez Gonzalez

Nuestro amado Pedro Martinez Gonzalez, de 58 años de edad, residente de Del Valle, nació a la Vida Eterna el sábado, 27 de febrero, 2021. Pedro se reune con su hija, Adelaida Martinez Rodriguez; sus padres, Salomon Martinez Varasteguí y Anselma Gonzalez; y su hermano, Olegario Martinez Gonzalez. 

A Pedro le sobrevive su amorosa esposa, Micaela Martinez; sus hijas, Sara Martinez, Irene A. Martinez Gonzales, y su esposo, Antonio Salomon; trés nietos preciosos con uno más en el camino; sus hermanos, Salomon Martinez, y su esposa, Marisela, Cruz Rios Martinez, y su esposo, Ignacio, Petra Estela Escobar Martinez, y su esposo, Jaime, Alicia Rios Martinez, Santa Martha Martinez, Maria de Jesus Acosta Martinez, y su esposo, David, Gilberto Martinez Acosta, Francisco Martinez; numerosos sobrinos, primos, otros familiares, y bastantes amigos. 

El velorio se realizará el sábado, 13 de marzo, 2021, a las 5:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario empezando a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Esto concluirá servicios para Pedro.

Our beloved Pedro Martinez Gonzalez, 58, a Del Valle resident, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Pedro is reunited with his daughter, Adelaida Martinez Rodriguez; his parents, Salomon Martinez Varasteguí and Anselma Gonzalez; and his brother, Olegario Martinez Gonzalez.

Pedro is survived by his loving wife, Micaela Martinez; his daughters, Sara Martinez, Irene A. Martinez Gonzales, and her spouse, Antonio Salomon; three precious grandchildren with one more on the way; his brothers, Salomon Martinez, and his wife, Marisela, Cruz Rios Martinez, and her husband, Ignacio, Petra Estela Escobar Martinez, and her husband, Jaime, Alicia Rios Martinez, Santa Martha Martinez, Maria de Jesus Acosta Martinez, and her husband, David, Gilberto Martinez Acosta, Francisco Martinez; numerous nephews, cousins, other relatives, and quite a few friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 5:00 pm, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

This will conclude services for Pedro.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
