Obituary of Henry B. Arellano
Our beloved Henry B. Arellano, age 61, resident of Austin, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Arellano Sr., his mother-in-law, Sarah Mercado; his brother-in-law, Matthew Brock, and his beloved pet, China Arellano.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rosary Calderon Arellano; his daughter, Sarah Arellano-Mares (BJ); his mother, Elodia Benitez Arellano; his grandchildren, Jacob Salazar (Alfred), Vanessa LeVrier (Andy), Joshua Salazar, Isaac Mares, and Amaya Mares; his great grand-daughter, Athena LeVrier; his siblings, Peter Arellano (Claire), Louis Arellano (Diane), Mary Calderon, Guadalupe Calderon Jr. (Maria), Debbie Alvarez (Chris), Cenobia Rana (Javid), and Roosevelt and Linda Gillespie; six godchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, and many more loving family and friends.
Pallbearers are Joseph De La Cruz, Nickolas Brock, Phillip Brock, Trey Gillespie, Guadalupe Calderon III, and Christopher Alvarez Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Brite, Matthew Brock, and Louis Arellano.
Henry was known for the love he had for Dallas Cowboys, win or lose. Anytime he would walk into an event everyone knew the party had started. He had a smile that would light up a room and will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 8, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas 78725.

Funeral Mass will be held the following morning, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas 78702.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
