Obituary of Joe Vasquez Limón

Our beloved Joe Vasquez Limón, age 86, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 25, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodrigo and Margarita Limón and his siblings, Julio V. Limón I, Jovita Limón, Julio Limón II, Marcelino Limón, Regina Limón, Andres Limón, Concepcion Limón, Eliseo Terrazas, and Felicitas Moreno.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gail Limón; his children, Melinda L. Sanchez (John Luke), David Limón (Sonia), and Joe M. Limón, Jr.; beloved grandchildren, Avalon Sanchez, Presley Limón, and Quentin Limón; siblings, Vidal Limón, Mary Arzola, Isidro Limón, and Aurora Ruedas, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. also on March 8, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
