Obituary of Juan O. Bear

Our beloved Juan O. Bear, age 61, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 4, 2021.  Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Ricarda Bear, and his brother, Ruben Bear.

Juan is survived by his loving wife or 40 years, Consuelo Bear; his children, Minerva Arriola and her husband, Enrique, Eric Bear, Sr. and his wife, Teresa, and Edwin Bear and his wife, Abigail; grandchildren, Jessica Arriola, Adrian Arriola, Eric Bear, Jr., Andrew Bear, Jayla Bear, Brianna Bear, Vianney Bear, and Mia Perla Bear; his brothers, Alejandrino Bear and his wife, Leticia, and Joel Bear and his wife, Isabel, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 4:30 p.m. and Mariachi beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St., Buda, Texas.  Public services for Mr. Bear will end following Mass.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
