Obituary of Antonio Pardo
Our beloved Antonio Pardo, Jr., age 91, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Moreno Pardo; his parents, Antonio Pardo, Sr. and Silvestra Alvarado Pardo, and his brothers and sisters.
Antonio was a master tailor having retired from Scarborough Department Store and also working at Dillards and JC Penney. He specialized in men's wear, but was also talented with women's apparel, even sewing his daughters wedding dress.
Antonio is survived by his children, Julian Pardo, Sr., Mary Florencio and her husband, Juan Manuel, Vera Celedon and her husband, Frank, Ernest Pardo and his wife, Carmen, and Emily Hernandez and her husband, Daniel; fifteen grandchildren, Christina Garcia and her husband, Andrew, Julian Pardo, Jr., Sean Michael Pardo, Melissa Pardo, Adriana Florencio and her husband, Emanuel Linares, Alexis Dominguez and her husband, Nester, Eric Celedon, Michelle Celedon Saythonghkam and her husband, Daniel, Stephanie Pardo, Kathleen Pardo, Veronica Pardo, Virginia Lucinda Hernandez, Kimberly Renee Hernandez, Jesse James Hernandez, and Mark Anthony Hernandez, ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and two great great grandchildren on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, Tillery and Lyon St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow Mass.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
