The great, adored matriarch of the family left us on Saturday, April 5th. She provided for 3 generations all her love and caring. We all could confide in her. No one left without love, hunger, or a smile. She was a great comforter to us all. Her task here complete, she decided to join in eternal life her husband, Eugenio, her life-long partner.A life-long Austin resident and graduate of Austin High School, she opened up the hair salon Lupe?s Beauty Shop, which became a neighborhood hub for social gatherings, conversation, as well as a place to get your hair done nicely. She later volunteered her cooking skills for A.I.S.D. students, serving a select few with delectable morsels. Many friends and family dropped by her home to say hello. She leaves behind brother Armando Olvera, Aunt Rosie Olvera, Uncle Manuel Olvera, cousin Joey Olvera; daughters Molly Escobar, Ines Mojica, Esther Espinoza, Mary Ertman, and Delores Mendez; and sons Frank Mojica Jr., Rudy Mojica Sr., and John Villarreal; sons-in-law Anselmo Escobar, Mike Knoblauch, Robert Espinoza, Samuel Mendez; daughters-in-law Zeferina Mojica, Dominga Mojica, and Noelia Villarreal.
