Obituary of Renee Sanchez

Our beloved Renee Sanchez, age 45, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, Efrain Ben Sanchez Sr. 

Renee is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Maria E. Rios Sanchez; his mother, Maria Castro Munoz; his children, Alyssa Renee Sanchez, Cynthia Sanchez, Rene Sanchez Jr., Angel Escobedo, and Jessica Escobedo; his 4 grandchildren, Micaela Eva Ortiz, Michael Ortiz Jr., Romeo Escobedo, and Naylina Escobedo; his siblings, Gracie Sanchez Marin (Anthony), and Efrain Ben Sanchez Jr. (Diana), and many more loving family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Tony Sanchez, Ray Marin III, Victor Garcia, Joel Castro, Christopher Castro, Ezekiel Godinez, David Vasquez Sr., David Vasquez Jr., and Jesse Godinez Jr. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home-East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78702.

A funeral mass will be held the following morning, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd., Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. 
 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
