Obituary of Hector R. Gonzales

Our beloved Hector R. Gonzales, age 51, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 21, 2021.  

Hector is survived by his parents, Hector Del Rio and Joyce Gallegos; his sisters, Melissa Gonzales, Celia Garcia, Francisca "Frances" Aguirre and her husband, Francisco, and Rita Marie Parsons; his nieces and nephews, Francisco Espinoza, Joel Espinoza, Angelica Urias, Goddaughter, Leticia Haros, Francisco Aguirre, and Samara Aguirre; great nieces and nephews, Darian Espinoza, Jacob Espinoza, Marissa Espinoza, Brianna Espinoza, Joshua Espinoza, Joen Espinoza, Ameris De La Rosa, Sophia De La Rosa, Amir De La Rosa, and Joseph Juarez.

Honored Pallbearers will be Francisco Espinoza, Joel Espinoza, Ricardo Guerrero, Francisco Aguirre Jr., Francisco Aguirre III, Javier Cazares,Tyler Lamy, and George Alexander.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas.  Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
