Obituary of Richard Ramirez

Our beloved Richard Ramirez, age 65, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Guadalupe Ramirez.

Richard is survived by his loving children, Richard Ramirez, Rene M. Ramirez, Robert Ramirez and his wife, Christie, Monica Payne and her husband, Ryan, and Eleni and her husband, Aaron; his siblings, Alonzo Ramirez, Jr. and R. Ramirez, and many other nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Javier Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Benigno Jose Maldonado, Jr., Patrick Payne, and Adrian Woolf.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Alonzo Ramirez.

Visitation will be held froom 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with Eulogies beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Dr., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
