Our beloved Guadalupe Guerrero, age 103, resident of East Austin, was born into Eternal Life in the early morning hours of Monday, January 11, 2021. She is reunited with her loving husband of 60 years, Longinos Guerrero; her sons, Louis Guerrero and Gilbert Guerrero; her grandson, Lonnie Guerrero; her parents, Isidoro Vega y Benita Yuella; her sisters, Ulalia Vega and Marcelina Vega; and her brother, Epifanio Vega. 

Guadalupe is survived by her loving children, Gloria Sanchez, and her spouse, Walt Greenough, and Lonnie Guerrero; her grandchildren, Luis Guerrero Jr., and his wife, Antoinette, Yvonne L. Guerrero, Lynn Guerrero Torres, Yvette Wallace, and her husband, Michael, Sergio Guerrero, Ramon Guerrero, Ricardo Martinez, and his wife, Irma, Nonnie Sanchez, Sandra Aleman, Brenda Perez, and husband, Robert, Renee Guerrero, and her husband, Larry Harris, Lynette Guerrero, and her husband, Richard Rousseau, and Suzanne Pekarek, and her husband, Robert; her granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Guerrero; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Torres, and his wife, Brittany, Leslie Torres Griffin, and her husband, Ian, Christie Torres, Linda Guerrero Galvez ,Jesus Luis Guerrero, Jaxon Martinez, Amanda B. Perez, Ashley M. Gambino, Alexandrea B. Acosta, Daniel Trevino, and his wife, Amanda, Salina Trevino Perez, Marc Aleman, Christine Sloan, Noah Aleman, Alyssa Vidaurri, Sydney Harris, Quintin Harris, Isaiah Guerrero, Lyon Harris,Nevada Sanchez, Angelina Sanchez; her great-great-grandchildren, Daniel Torres, Jonathan Torres; Gabrielle Torres, Owen Griffin, Ananda M. Gambino, Alessandra G. Gambino, Keoni and Julian Galvez, Devannie Guerrero, Daniel Trevino, IV, Jacob Bockert, Analise Perez, Emma Perez, Elina Trevino, Ethan Trevino, Mia Aleman, Marcella Aleman, Noah Aleman II;  her sister, Isabel Reyes; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 9:00 a.m.,  on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, with limited attendance, per cemetery guidelines. 

The Rosary will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate. Please follow the link to Mission Funeral Home East Side Facebook Page to view.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask (those solely wearing face shields will not be permitted entry)

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
