Obituary of Mary Gonzales
Our beloved Mary Gonzales, age 76, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Gonzales, son, John Daniel Gonzales; Daughter-in-Law, Irene Gonzales; her precious granddaughters, Vanessa Nicole Gonzales and Jennifer Leigh Gonzales; her parents, Alberto and Felicita Duran; her brothers, Juan Duran, Manuel Duran, Sr., and Alberto Duran, and sisters, Santos Rocha, Paula Surita, and Lupe Salinas.
Mary is survived by her son, Angel Gonzales; daughter, Terry Gonzales; son -in-law, Jerry Hernandez; grandchildren, Melissa Villalpando and her wife, Neeka Ceballos; Benjamin "Brian" Gonzales, Angelica Gonzales and her husband, Jaime, Joe Ortiz, Johnny Gonzales, Erica Gonzales, Julianna Gonzales, and Elizabeth Hernandez; great grandchildren, Dani Villalpando, Victoria Gonzales, Benjamin "Bennie" Gonzales, Rene Gonzales, Angelica Gonzales, Jeremiah Gonzales, John Paul Gonzales, Joey Ortiz, Jr., Aubriana Ortiz, Brandon Ortiz, Ebanie Cisneros and Steven Cisneros; great great grandchildren, Benjamin Villalpando, Miah Villalpando, Jonas Villalpando, and Mateo Haros; her brother, Jesse Duran and his wife, Angie, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
The family has provided a special visitation hour for older adults and those compromised, Monday, January 18, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Visitation for family, extended family and friends will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, Lyon and Tillery St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
