Obituary of Kristy Nicole Reyna
She wasn’t supposed to live passed a few hours, maybe a day. The doctors recommended that no action be taken in order to save her life.
But, as her pediatrician said “what do doctors know?”
Defying all odds she lived a full 42 years. Against all odds she was highly functional and super independent. All against the grim diagnosis given to her at birth.
Again, “what do doctors know?”
What they didn’t know was that born on that Friday August 4th was a fighter! A fiercely passionate, strong willed, loving person. Seeing beyond her personal struggles and situation, she cared for her family and others unconditionally.
An unmatched fan of all things music. More specifically, her all time favorite, Mariah Carey.
Standing tall and proud, Kristy gained her wings and has been welcomed by all her family members that preceded her.
Our beloved Kristy N. Reyna, age 42, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
Kristy is survived by her loving parents, Rudy Reyna Sr and Hope Marciel; her siblings, Rudy Reyna, Jr. and wife, Victoria, Eric Reyna and wife, Tiffany, Matthew Reyna and wife, April, and Ashley Alba, as well as other loving family and friends.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews who she lovingly referred to as her babies.
