Obituary of Ambrosio "Robert" Amaya
Our beloved Ambrosio "Robert" A. Amaya, age 82, was called home Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Aguilar; son, David Amaya; and sister Mary Luna.
Ambrosio is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Beatrice Saldana Amaya; adoring children, Robert (Geraldine) Amaya, Jerry Amaya (Maria), Connie A. (Adam) Gonzales, Mary Ann (Frank) Mendoza; brother, Jerry Amaya; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Mass of Cristian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702. Interment to follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
