Obituary of Carmen Mendoza Pacheco

Our beloved Carmen Mendoza Pacheco, age 56, has left for her journey on December 5, 2020.  She follows in the footsteps of her parents, Merced Mendoza, Sr. and Louisa De Leon Mendoza; her infant child; her siblings, Raymond Mendoza and Rachel Mendoza, and her grandparents, Felipa and Ruth De Leon and Pedra Mendoza.

Carmen is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Hector L. Pacheco; her children, Hector Ramon Pacheco, Alexandria Pacheco, Adrian Pacheco, and Giselle Anne Pacheco; her siblings, Mary Jane Cortez, Merced Mendoza, Jr., Carolina Rivera, and Teresa Mares, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
