Obituary of David Rodriguez Galvan

Our beloved David Rodriguez Galvan, age 68, was called to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on December 3, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Galvan, Sr. and Hortencia Rodriguez.

David is survived by his loving children, Andrea Neece and her husband, Jerry, Victoria Martinez and her husband, Jose Gil, and Olivia Garcia and her husband, Angel Vasquez; his grandchildren, Kaylinn Neece, Jakob Neece, Gabriel David Gil, Avery Gil, Anthony Vasquez, Alaina Vasquez, and Aviana Vasquez; his siblings, Frank Galvan, Jr., Regino Galvan and his wife, Ofelia, Pete Galvan, Jesse Galvan, Rosemary Galvan, and Ruth Galvan, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Adam Dominguez, Angel Vasquez, Jose Gil, Anthony Tovar, Roy Guzman, and Jakob Neece.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
